Cancellation and Refund Policy

APPLICATION OF TERMS

Thank you for choosing our services. We value your trust and confidence in us and are committed to providing you with the best experience possible. We understand that in certain situations, you may require a refund for the services provided by us.

However, please note that you need to check if the accommodation, tourist attraction or the event you are booking on their Visit Rural booking page has a different Refund and Cancellation Policy than this one. It will be clearly marked on their page, and supersedes the policy on this page.

1.         REFUND ELIGIBILITY

Refunds are only eligible for services that have been cancelled by the Vendor or where the Vendor has not been able to provide the service due to unforeseeable circumstances.

The Vendor must be notified of any visitor cancellations as soon as possible, visitors should send a message to [email protected] as soon as they need to cancel.

2.         REFUND PROCESS

Refunds are dependent on refunds being obtained from the Vendors. Visit Rural Pty Ltd ACN 663 928 890 (“Visit Rural”) will make a good faith effort to obtain the refund from the Vendor, but refunds are not guaranteed. In some cases, partial refunds may be issued, or the refund may be given in the form of credit towards future services.

Due to the remoteness of Vendor establishments, they may have already paid for various stock items for your visit, should you cancel within 7 days of the booking date, the Vendor may need to cover these costs and you may not be issued with a refund or you may be issued with a partial refund. P

3.         REFUND TIMELINE

Visit Rural will make every effort to process refunds within 30 days of receiving a written request for refund. However, this timeline may vary depending on the circumstances surrounding the refund request and the availability of refunds from Vendors.

4.         REFUND COMMUNICATION

Visit Rural will communicate with the customer and vendor regarding the refund process and timeline in writing and the customer and vendor consent to any communication being by email via Visit Rural.

5.         LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Visit Rural shall not be liable for any damages or losses that may result from the refund process, including but not limited to, loss of revenue or profits, loss of business or goodwill, or any other indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages.

6.         CHANGES TO THE REFUND POLICY

Visit Rural reserves the right to modify or amend this refund policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes made will be effective immediately upon posting of the revised refund policy on our website.

By using our services as a visitor (customer) or vendor, you agree to abide by this refund policy. If you have any questions or concerns about this policy, please contact us at [email protected].
